And then came back the bright light. Crystaall couldn't figure out why she was going from dark to light over and over again, and she didn't want to. On the other hand she couldn't figure out why she was thniking about this as the light slowly dimmed down. She took a moment to get her bearings and soon realized she was laying on another flat surface. It wasn't as cold as the hard metal she felt before, but it was still cold either way. A sheet was laid over her and when she turned her head to the right, which rested on a plush pillow, she could see an end table which her necklace laid upon its surface. Crystaall began to move, throwing the sheet off her, machines near her began to scream slightly with many rhythmic patterns and she eventually tore off the many tubes that were connected to her chest and stomach. She grabbed her necklace and quickly placed it around her neck, slightly shivering at the cold metal. She looked at herself only to notice that the clothes she wore was a ragged shirt and pants able to survive harsh conditions. It that had insulation within and a harsh outer layer, like that of military pants. She began to stand up, but when her bare feet touched the freezing tiles and the pressure of her legs began to rise, Crystaall nearly collapsed, barely holding herself up with her tight grip upon the small table. She could hear footsteps and was soon helped into the bed once more, but this time she was sat upright. She couldn't see the people who helped her until she rested her back against the wall and took a good look at the 'assistants'. One had the obvious look and outfit of a doctor, and he had has face almost hidden with a light green balaclava. He had white skin and his eyes were a deep blue, and she began to smile. But she didn't smile at the doctor, she smiled at the fact that her other helper was Grey-Kast, the strong-headed rodian that was Vex's friend, and perhaps he would be hers at another time. But after smiling at seeing him, she was soon struck with worry. All her weapons, all of her equipment was not here, she never found it when she awoke in that awful chamber and when she was walking across the desert sand she could not feel the weight against her hips of her trusty pistols.
"Where are they?"
"Crystaall what are you-"
"Where are my weapons, Grey-Kast!"
Anger began to rise in her voice. She could not defend herself without her weapons. She could not exact revenge upon Jigual without her weapons. She could not defend R4 or Vex's ship without her weapons. Without her weapons, without those valued pistols that made her who she was, she should just as well sulk in misery, for those deadly weapons was all she had left, to call herself a hunter.
